The demolition of the two grain elevators started in April 2004 and required approximately
two and one half weeks to complete, including site cleanup and restoration. Not all was lost
though, as there was a considerable amount of steel and large timbers salvaged. I was away
and missed the initial collapse of the last elevator ... .
